. . . where you find your best friends.” —Jan Brett

Every month hundreds of titles are reviewed by the industry’s top journals. Scanning the reviews, making selections on paper, and searching for the titles online can be time consuming. reviewALERT is a convenient and free way to help you streamline this selection process. Each month, Ingram will notify you via e-mail of the titles reviewed in the journals you’ve select on your profile. This will allow you to easily access the titles on ipage and place your orders. You can also select the auto-ship option!

Since their inception, our Childrens and Young Adult reviewALERT programs have been very popular with our customers, so we’ve recently added Adult and Adult Reference programs. Now you receive notification on adult titles receiving reviews in Booklist, Kirkus, Library Journal, and Publishers Weekly

You can sign up for the programs online by going to the “Programs and Catalogs” tab on ipage. The reviewALERT programs (Adult, Adult Reference, Youth, and Youth Reference) are listed under the “Programs and Services” header. You can also contact us at programsandservices@ingrambook.com for more information.

This month we delve into the latest list of features and programs added to ipage in the most recent release. Find out more.

Traveling with Pomegranates
by Sue Monk Kidd and Ann Kidd Taylor
Viking Books

Sue Monk Kidd and her daughter Ann present a joint memoir and travelogue. Both are at a turning point in their lives when they embark on a trip to Greece—Sue, at midlife, is contemplating a change in her writing career to become a novelist, and Ann is a recent college graduate who is navigating her way into adulthood. In addition to their personal soul-searching, the two women must also forge a new identity for their relationship, evolving from mother-child to mother-adult daughter. Ms. Kidd’s fans will be intrigued by the story of the genesis of her novel, The Secret Life of Bees. Readers of contemplative memoirs will enjoy this thoughtful work.
