Fantagraphics is pleased to announce a new annual graphic novel series for adults from the Hernandez Brothers, Love and Rockets: New Stories #1 which has just released. It’s the perfect point of entry for new readers. This title is the first title of the all new Love and Rockets Collections. The three Hernandez brothers from Southern California are best known for giving voice to minorities and women in the comic medium.

Teen girls will want to start at the beginning with two new trilogies added to the Youth Popular Series Standing Order Program this month. The first volumes release in March 2009.
The first trilogy is from Simon Pulse entitled The One written by Ed Decter available in trade paper. It’s a sexy, dark, teen read about all the things that can go wrong for Chloe Gamble and her dream to make it big in Hollywood.  The second trilogy, The Vampire Diaries: The Return from HarperTeen is offered in both hardcover and library binding. Written by L. J. Smith, it’s the  long awaited paranormal romance and continuation of the hit series Vampire Diaries with Elena back from the dead again.
