Your young patrons expect you to have the latest releases by the most popular authors of children's and teen books; however, managing all the new releases can be a real chore. Fortunately, Ingram's MLS-degreed librarians can take on this task for you.

When you sign up for Ingram's Youth Author Standing Order Program, new titles from children's and teen writers as diverse as Christopher Paolini, Mo Willems, Jacqueline Woodson, Jenny Nimmo, and Laura Numeroff will automatically ship to you, as soon as they are available. My patrons really love Large Print books. Can you recommend a way to locate the Large Print titles in ipage?

Dear Lady,
Fortunately, Ingram has several tools available to help you find Large Print titles. Our Collection Development Librarian, Norma Lilly, posts new Large Print releases each month on ipage. To locate the lists, go to the Collection Development tab, click the Adult Books and Audiobooks link, and select the Large Print section. Releases are listed by month.

You can also Refine Your Results to include only Large Print after any search on ipage. Just use the Large Print filter link located under Features in the Refine Your Results box. (You may need to click the More button to see it. It will only appear if there are Large Print titles in the search results.) You can use this function to find all the Large Print titles by author. Let's use John Grisham as an example. Just enter "Grisham, John" in the Simple Search box, click Search, then Refine Your Results by clicking the Large Print link on the left. This will give you all Large Print titles by John Grisham!

Of course if you subscribe to ipage Professional, Power Search is a great tool for finding exactly what you want. Just click the Large Print box.
