| Reader's Advisory: Stormy Weather |
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita have turned our attention to natural disasters. Here are some more books to help us understand the dramatic forces of nature. Ingram librarian Norma Lilly has created this list that includes instant books on Katrina to historical perspectives on disasters of the past to general reference works that help us understand the vagaries of weather. Our research indicated that nearly all Further Developments readers are also ipage® users. Therefore, this list links directly to ipage to give you the most flexibility. If you would like information on how to receive your free subscription, please contact ics-techsupport@ingramlibrary.com.

| Dear Libby |
One thing that bothers me is after doing a search on ipage, the cursor disappears and I have to click on the box to begin my next search. It's a little thing, but when I'm doing a long list of searches, I have to reach for the mouse each time when it would be just as easy for the program to come back with the blinking cursor, ready for the next search. --Cursor-Challenged
Dear CC:
It's not a little thing--anything that takes time and clicks is important. Here's how you can set your default so that the blinking cursor is back.
- Select Change Settings at the very top of your page
- Reenter your password at the login screen
- Click User Settings
- Scroll down to Display Option Preferences
- Select On for Automatic Cursor Placement
Happy clicking,
