The series Faerie Path from HarperTeen has been reinstated to the Youth Popular Fiction Standing Order Program. It was mistakenly reported cancelled by the publisher in May 2009. A new hardcover and quality paper title will both release in February 2010. Important Note
The series Swan from CMX will be continuing with Volume 15 despite previous cancellation from the publisher. If this series was part of your profile and you desire its continuation, it will be necessary to re-enroll for the offering.
Price increases
Publisher price increases have been noted for the majority of Tokyopop and Viz graphic novel series. Viz titles previously priced at $8.99 and a few at $7.95 are now $9.99, while Tokyopop’s $9.99 titles are now $10.99. Standing order information on iPage reflects these increases. Del Rey’s price increases on the other hand, have been only a few cents with titles once $10.95 now $10.99.
Price increases are also noted for all Andrews McMeel Comic Collections and Sketchbook offerings now $12.99 and Treasuries now $16.99.
Recommended ages change
The recommended age for the Viz series Naoki Urasawa’s 20th Century Boys has been changed to Adult/YA.

Houghton Mifflin announces a new early reader series, Martha Speaks, beginning in January 2010, which has been included in Ingram’s Easy Reader Standing Order Program. Paper over board hardcover editions at $12.99 and quality paper bindings at $3.99 are both available. However, the quality paper editions do have vocabulary activities at the back of each book that may make them less desirable for library circulation.
