The Author Standing Order Program includes new fiction only, in regular hardcover and simultaneous-release large print and audio editions. Audio editions include abridged and unabridged cassettes and CDs. Coverage of added authors will begin with titles having a November 2007 publication date.
Please Note:
Firstborn by Arthur C. Clarke and Stephen Baxter will be on the program for Clarke subscribers only. If you are signed up for Baxter but not for Clarke, you may wish to order this title via your usual means (December).

Blink of an Eye by Ted Dekker is a reissue of the novel Blink (October).
Sue Grafton: Three Complete Novels; J, K, & L: J Is for Judgment; K Is for Killer; L Is for Lawless by Sue Grafton is an omnibus edition of three previously published novels (October).
Slam by Nick Hornby is a children's book (October).
In Jesse's Shoes by Beverly Lewis is a children's book (October).
The Golden Apples of the Sun by Ray Bradbury is a reissue (November).
Storm Front: A Novel of the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher is a reissue (November).
The New Granta Book of the American Short Story is an anthology edited by Richard Ford (November).
The Illustrated Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett is a children's book (November).
Good Dog. Stay. by Anna Quindlen is nonfiction (November).
Legends of the West, Volume Two by Brock and Bodie Thoene is an omnibus edition of three previously published novels: Gold Rush Prodigal, Delta Passage, and Hangtown Lawman (November).
Eight Million Ways to Die by Lawrence Block is a reissue (January).
Runemarks by Joanne Harris is a children's book. It will be available in regular hardcover and library bindings (January).
The Big Field by Mike Lupica is a children's book (March).
Fool Moon by Jim Butcher is a reissue (July 08).

The Note by Angela Hunt is a reissue (October).
Beverly Lewis' series titles for children are being repackaged in omnibus editions. SummerHill Secrets: Volume One includes Whispers Down the Lane, Secret in the Willows, Catch a Falling Star, Night of the Fireflies, and A Cry in the Dark. SummerHill Secrets: Volume Two includes House of Secrets, Echoes in the Wind, Hide Behind the Moon, Windows on the Hill, and Shadows Beyond the Gate (October).
The Courtship of the Vicar's Daughter by Lawana Blackwell is being repackaged and reissued (November).
Numbers 4, 5, and 6 in Lori Copeland's Brides of the West series are being repackaged and reissued. Titles are Glory, Ruth, and Patience (November).
Embrace the Dawn and Consuming Fire by Kathleen Morgan are reissues (November).

Two series offerings from Chronicle Books, Sneaky Pony and Hot Dog & Bob, are now available in trade hardcover, qualifying for the higher trade hardcover discount.
Scholastic announces its Ulysses Moore series will be continuing in quality paperback only. The trade hardcover offering has been cancelled.
Houghton Mifflin is excited to bring back Curious George at the Aquarium. Normally, we do not offer reissues on Standing Order Programs; however, this title is an exception. If you have signed up to receive titles in the Curious George series, please e-mail Mary Hiles if you do not want this title included with your order.
Long-standing series special-edition titles will now be included with regular paperback series orders when the price variance is no more than a dollar and trim size remains the same. For example, From the Files of Madison Finn Super Special #3 Friends till the End is a case where the regular series titles are $4.99 retail and the special editions are priced at $5.99. HarperCollins, September title Warriors Super Edition: Firestar Quest will be an exception. Although the library edition and trade hardcover have only a dollar variance, we request you notify Mary Hiles if you would like this title included on your order.
