Horse Diaries from Random House announces a price increase for both bindings, $5.99 for quality paper and $11.99 for library editions.
Puppy Place from Scholastic which was announced complete in fall 2008 by the publisher and removed from the standing order program has returned with additional new titles. Even if Puppy Place was part of your youth popular standing order it will be necessary to re-enroll, adding it to your order once again. The price is unchanged at $4.99.

Be sure to check out the new easy reader series added this month to the standing order program from Stone Arch. It’s designed especially with young boys in mind. The first titles will be available this August in both library and quality paperback binding. Level 1 for those just staring to read at the PreK-1 level has simple sentences, easy vocabulary, and word repetition. Level 2 for those reading with some help especially in grades 1-2 has longer sentences, high vocabulary, and easy dialogue. Level 3 for those reading alone especially in grades 2-3 has full paragraphs, higher word count, and high-interest topics.
