Auditor’s Pick--by Ellen Myrick
Pride and Prejudice
Read by Emilia Fox

This first in a new line of unabridged classics from Naxos Audio does justice to the wit and wisdom found in Jane Austen’s most celebrated novel. Fox, who appeared as Georgiana Darcy in the 90s miniseries, uses her firsthand experience of the text to bring the characters to vibrant life. Her characterizations are uniformly strong and the Austen aficionado will take special delight in her portrayal of the exasperatingly silly Mrs. Bennet as well as the insufferably proud Lady Catherine de Bourgh. A convenient insert gives detailed chapter headings and tracks and an introductory essay by Helen Davies provides a brief summary of the book as well as background information on the author and her times.

More Auditor’s Picks:
• Assassination Vacation
• Broken for You
• The Tea House on Mulberry Street
