2008 Audie Finalists

Each year the Audio Publishers Association, a not-for-profit trade association, honors the best titles in audio publishing at a gala dinner held in conjunction with APAC (Audio Publishers Association Conference) and BEA. The APA and its members work to bring all audio publishers together to create increased public awareness for the audiobook industry through joint publicity efforts, national consumer surveys, trade show exhibits, an association newsletter, the annual APA conference--APAC--and the Audie Awards competition and gala.

Awards are bestowed in more than 30 categories, including Achievement in Abridgement, Biography/Memoir, Business Information/Educational, Fiction, Mystery, Nonfiction, Package Design, Science Fiction, and Audiobook of the Year.

In 2008, the Audies Gala will be held at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, California, on May 30.
