The Simon Pulse series known by some as En Vogue has been officially named by the publisher as Fashion Forward Adventures of Imogene. Look for it on the youth popular standing order program.
Beacon Street Girls and Beacon Street Girls Adventures are now being published by Aladdin Mix. There should be no interruption in program orders due to the change in publisher. Time’s Up is the latest Beacon Street Girls title coming in May. Isabel's Texas Two-Step will be the next Beacon Street Girls Adventure coming in fall. Frequencies for both series range from 1-3 titles per year.
James Patterson’s highly popular Maximum Ride series is currently available in three bindings. Little, Brown is marketing the forthcoming titles to both adults and YA audiences resulting in price changes. The latest hardcover, Final Warning, is now $20.00 due to the adult marketing status. The quality paper edition aimed at the YA audience remains $7.99 along with the mass-market edition Saving the World: And Other Extreme Sports aimed at adult readers.
Fans of the Gossip Girl series from Little, Brown will be thrilled to learn that a whole new group of girls just moved in. As a result the, Gossip Girl series once thought complete has been reinstated. If you received this series in the past, expect to receive the latest, Gossip Girl:The Carlyles, this May. Yen Press is now the US publisher for all ongoing Ice Kunion series. 11th Cat, Chocolat, and Angel Diary have been reinstated on the graphic novel standing order program after the hiatus due to the change in publisher. In addition to continuing established series, Yen will be introducing new series this summer, so look for more additions to the standing order program soon.
The highly popular fantasy-adventure series Pendragon from Simon and Schuster goes graphic with its first volume Merchant of Death launching in May from the new imprint Aladdin Graphics! Old and new fans alike will truly feel and see the excitement of the Pendragon universe as never before imagined in this vivid, fast-paced graphic novel. Be sure and look for its listing on the graphic novel series additions this month.
