When the Genre Chick's column first launched in October of 2004, the first interview was with up-and-coming British author of dark fantasy Steven Savile. In the year and a half since then, inspiration and perspiration have treated Steven well enough for him to have attained that status all writers covet: he quit his day job to write full time. Genre Chick Alethea Kontis hooked back up with Steven for this second interview and a curious glimpse of a star being born. Read the interview.
