Seven Seas Manga
Dynamic, original, American manga will debut in the United States in February 2005. Seven Seas Entertainment is proud to announce the publication of its first four manga series, Amazing Agent Luna, Blade for Barter, Last Hope, and No Man's Land. Established in 2004 by owners Jason DeAngelis and Dallas Middaugh, Seven Seas strives to encourage the idea of “world manga” by tapping the creative talents of international writers and artists to develop stories with worldwide appeal. All series are available through the graphic novel standing order program.

Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys
For the first time, both Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys make their graphic novel debuts. Both new series launch in April by from Papercutz, a new imprint of NBM. New, original Nancy Drew graphic novel mysteries written by comic veteran, Stefan Petrucha, and illustrated by manga artist, Sho Murase will thrill intermediate girls. Guys likewise, will investigate new Hardy Boys mysteries and solve crimes written by Marvel’s X-men writer, Scott Lobdell, and illustrated by American manga artist, Lea Hernandez. All titles of both series will be available in both trade hardcover and paperback. Both series are now available through the graphic novel standing order program.

Orca Currents
Orca Book Publishers proudly announces the premier in March 2005 of Orca Currents, middle-school fiction for reluctant readers. This new series is born out of need and follows the dynamic continuing success of Orca Soundings, a series of high-interest/low reading level novels for teens.

Orca Currents like its older counterpart will contain high-interest stories with compelling, contemporary plots written by best-selling, award winning authors suitable for readers in grades five through eight. Reading levels will range from grade 2.0 to 4.5 offering new and exciting alternative novels for an often-overlooked group of readers.
